a variety of disciplines: musicians, painters, actors and singers. From

Over the last years, Yara Küpper has developed her own dance

language, based on her very varied experience, blending elements

of neo-classic, modern and jazz. She proposes workshops and stages

that allow participants to express the emotions, images or stories

inspired by the music in a fluid language that unites body and soul and

gives them the opportunity to express themselves freely.

In September 2007 Salt & Light Dance was launched, bringing together people from various churches, ages and background to express their Christian faith through dance. Salt & Light Dance has been performing since then throughout Belgium and Holland, in church productions, festivals, theatres, retirement homes etc.

An intense training program - Diamond Dance Company - was created to provide for aspiring professional dancers.  In 2012 the children’s branch - Mini Diamonds - was launched. Both are directed by Yara.

In 2014 Yara was requested to choreograph and perform the role of Mary-Magdalene in the dance theatre production “Le Perfum de Béthanie”. It has been performed with great success in the church of the Saint Michel  Jesuit college and at the magnificent basilic of Brussels. Further performances are planned throughout 2014.

For 2015 Yara has been requested by Marie Media ASBL to choreograph and perform ”Esther, queen of the Jews”.

Yara hopes to continue performing, choreographing, teaching and directing Salt & Light Dance in the years to come. Yara expresses her Christian faith through dance.
